We want to adopt a child, Can we get a child through your organization?

If we have three female children, can we get a male child?

How long can it take time to get a child adoption process ?

All the procedures are online so it is possible to know when the child can be found accordingly.

Is there any fixed deposit to be made in the name of the child for before or after adoption?

This is not mandatory.

What is the total expense for adopting a child?

As per CARA rules approximately Rs. 50,000 / - (CARA=CENTRAL ADOPTION RESOURCE AUTHORITY)

Can a daughter for marriage in organization?

There are currently no daughters eligible for marriage in the Balashram.

Regarding child admission:

How does a child come to the organization and where does it come from?

Abandoned or forgotten children are admitted by order of DISTRICT CHILD PROTECTION UNIT OFFICER and CHILD WELFARE COMMITTEE.

What should be the age of the child to be admitted?

Younger than eighteen years

After admission in organization, Is there any amount to be paid by parents for the child's expenses?

No.

For how many years is the child given shelter in your organization?

If there is no other question till the completion of eighteen years.

Where does the child live and what do they after being released from the organization?

The child is re-integrated into society with their parents, relatives or by creating a separate identity.

Yes

What are the arrangements for children to have fun?

By means of a television set and a D.V.D on the screen

Which schools do children go to for study?

A.V. Jasani Vidyamandir School (English Medium / Gujarati Medium) managed by the K.N.BALASHRAM and arranged according to the study in different schools / colleges / universities.

Can children study as they wish?

Yes

Do you take children on a trip, in a picture or in a hotel for dinner?

Yes

What do you give to children for meals?

Nutritious breakfast in the morning with milk, healthy meal in the afternoon and breakfast in the evening, meal at night.

If a child falls ill, where is taken for treatment?

Famous hospitals in Rajkot are N.M Virani Wockhardt, Amrita Hospital and Sunrise Hospital.

Are there staff at night to take care of small children?

Yes

Do children fight among themselves?

The little ones (kids) are sometimes joke fun.
