Message from President

Kathiawar Nirashrit Balashram non-governmental organization is located in Rajkot (Gujarat-India). Shri Kathiawar Nirashrit Balashram is an ideal institution offering exemplary home to orphan children. This is a unique institution of excellent reputation not only in country but also in abroad. This institution was established in 1907 by Harbhamraijeesaheb (State of Morvi). Totally we have 252 children staying in this orphanage from the age group of 1 day to 18 years. Just now there are 120 students cause of COVID-19. Our children are given for adoption in Germany, U.K, U.S.A, Italy, Spain, Norwe, Ireland etc. We are also running English and Gujarati medium school name with Shri A.V.Jasani at Gondal road, Rajkot for our Balashram children and for needy students of society. In Morvi, we are having Senior Citizen Home free of cost which is well appreciated in the society. Society is changing; we saw that elders from wealthy families often feel lonely at home. Their children are out of for jobs and business. Such elders do not have financial problems but they don’t have family or friends to spend time with them. To address this issue, we have initiate a day care center at opposite Malviya College, Gondal road, Rajkot where such elders can come and participate in various activities the said project is under contraction.
